Porsche 924 paint

In the summer of 2004 I painted my friends Dad's, original Porsche 924. It had been sitting in the desert down south for 4 or 5 years. Badly in need of a paint job, he asked me to paint it. This was supposed to be a quick respray but turned into a 2 month ordeal. Finished product turned out nice.

Here is the car way before we ever got started. Directly from the desert. Rear of the original car. Here Jim had already begun fixing issues around the panels.

Some issues with the passenger door. Nicely blocked out front section. A wash before going back in for a final block before paint.

Here the car is on it's final sand before topcoat. I shot the door jambs first and then back masked the outside. Turned out well for what it was. Another shot of the cleared jambs.
