Restoring a 1968 Porsche 911L

It's been awhile since I've updated the page. From Nov 03 till Jan 04 it's been so cold and rainy we've been struggling to keep things going. Also with no light after 6pm or so you can't work late. But slowly we've moved forward especially on the rebuilt suspension. Enjoy.

The fenders were sitting for quite awhile so we needed to clean them up with a bristle disc. A good pick of one of the cleaned fenders. Here I am shooting epoxy onto the left front fender.

The primed fender. Here's Rick's new favorite pastime: sandblasting. Here I am shooting a 2nd thick coat of ZeroRust on the inside surfaces of the fenders.

Here are the finished fenders, esentially brand new. Here's a pick of the pedal cluster as taken from the car. Pretty rusty piece. The entire thing was dismantled and bead blasted.

Here are the blasted parts awaiting epoxy. Here is my father puting it all back together again. The finished cluster.

It's a very beautiful thing! A before and after shot of the front wheel hubs. Here is the front suspension finished and ready to be bolted up.

Here is a typical Saturday at the house. As you can see, the disease has spread.... Here are the rear trailing arms getting a fresh coat of paint. Rear wheel bearing and drive components finshed.
